These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the HabitsTogether website (habitstogether.com) and the HabitsTogether mobile and web application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
HabitsTogether is a habit-building app that helps you set habits, check in on your progress, and receive personalised encouragement. The Service includes AI-powered "Future You" features, such as an aged self-portrait and a coaching persona that can send reminders and chat with you. The Service is currently provided free of charge. We may add optional paid features or subscription tiers in the future, and we will make the applicable terms available before you are charged.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country of residence. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Account settings; deleting your account permanently removes your habits, check-in history, blueprints, insights, and Future You content. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Future You and other AI features generate content automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. They are provided for motivation and general wellbeing only. They are not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Do not rely on the Service for decisions about your health. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or reverse engineer it, accessing it through automated means except as permitted, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or using it to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or applicable law.
The Service is free today. If we introduce paid subscriptions, they will be billed through the relevant app store (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play) or another payment provider we identify at the time, subject to that provider's terms. Any pricing, billing cycle, renewal, and cancellation details will be presented to you before purchase.
The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by HabitsTogether and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service only as permitted by these terms. You retain ownership of the content you create in the app, and you grant us the limited licence needed to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to store your habits and generate your Future You content).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. Building habits depends on your own effort and circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HabitsTogether shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
We may update or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may modify these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
