These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the HabitsTogether website (habitstogether.com) and the HabitsTogether mobile and web application (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
HabitsTogether is a habit-building app that helps you set habits, check in on your progress, and receive personalized encouragement. The Service includes AI-powered "Future You" features, such as a Future You portrait generated from your selfie (a dream-scene visualization, not an age-progressed image) and a coaching persona that can send reminders and chat with you. The Service offers a free plan (one active habit with the core tracking features) and an optional paid subscription, HabitsTogether Plus, which unlocks the AI coaching features and additional active habits. New accounts receive a time-limited free trial of Plus, as described at signup and in section 6.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity that happens under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to form a binding contract in your country of residence. You can delete your account at any time from the app's Account settings; deleting your account permanently removes your habits, check-in history, blueprints, insights, and Future You content. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.
Future You and other AI features generate content automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. They are provided for motivation and general wellbeing only. They are not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Do not rely on the Service for decisions about your health. If you are in crisis or may be a danger to yourself or others, contact your local emergency services or a qualified professional immediately.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to disrupt or reverse engineer it, accessing it through automated means except as permitted, uploading unlawful or harmful content, or using it to infringe the rights of others. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or applicable law.
HabitsTogether Plus is an optional subscription, offered monthly or annually. Current prices are shown on our website and at checkout before you pay.
Free trial. New accounts include a 7-day free trial of Plus that starts automatically when you create your account. No payment method is required, and you are not charged when the trial ends: your account simply moves to the free plan unless you choose to subscribe. When a trial or subscription ends, any habits beyond the free plan's allowance are paused, not deleted; your data and streak history remain in your account and are restored if you subscribe.
Billing and renewal. Web purchases are processed by our payment partners (currently RevenueCat and Stripe), subject to their terms. Purchases made through an app store (such as the Apple App Store or Google Play) are billed by that store under its terms, and must be managed and canceled through that store. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep Plus access until then. We do not charge cancellation fees.
Refunds. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at hello@habitstogether.com and we will work with you to put it right. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights, including any cooling-off or refund rights that apply where you live. Purchases made through an app store follow that store's refund process.
The Service, including its software, design, text, and branding, is owned by HabitsTogether and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service only as permitted by these terms. You retain ownership of the content you create in the app, and you grant us the limited license needed to operate and provide the Service to you (for example, to store your habits and generate your Future You content).
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result. Building habits depends on your own effort and circumstances.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HabitsTogether shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenues, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
We may update or discontinue parts of the Service, and we may modify these terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These Terms of Service shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
